Optimal Operation of Energy Hub Based Micro-energy Network with Integration of Renewables and Energy Storages

This study proposes an optimized model of a micro-energy network (MEN) that includes electricity and natural gas with integrated solar, wind, energy storage systems (ESSs). The proposed is based on hubs (EHs) it aims to minimize operation costs greenhouse emissions. research motivated by the increasing use renewable energies ESSs for secure supply while reducing environment effects. A general algebraic modeling system (GAMS) used solve optimal problem in MEN. results demonstrate MEN formed multiple EHs can provide appropriate flexible responses fluctuations prices adjustments between time periods seasons. It also yields significant reductions contribute future providing more efficient (as compared traditional system) scale down environmental economic impacts operation.
